Accommodation overview: Chubbs Farm details
Chubbs Farm is a detached, thatched, former farm set in a very quiet, rural position, two miles from Axminster.
The property, with holiday accommodation for 12 guests, lies at the end of a track and is set in in 10 acres with views down to and across the Axe Valley. The access track is quite rough in places and should be negotiated with care.
The refurbishment skillfully combines original features with more contemporary design.
Chubbs Farm is a 10-minute drive from the Regency resort of Lyme Regis. After a day on the beach or fossil hunting on the cliffs, guests can retreat to the property for a barbecue in perfect seclusion.
The nearest pub is in Axminster. Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's River Cottage Canteen and Deli in Axminster is also well worth the visit.
We offer other options at this location, which may be of interest if you need to accommodate a different sized group.

Accommodation overview: Midsummer Cottage details
Midsummer Cottage is a delightful 17th century Grade II listed Cotswold stone cottage with a very pretty garden. It is beautifully furnished and renovated to a very high standard. The sitting room has original exposed beams and a woodburner set in a traditional stone fireplace.
Stanton is one of the prettiest villages lying within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Little has changed in over 300 years and the houses are built in typical Cotswolds style. Midsummer Cottage is in the centre of this very peaceful village.
The village inn, The Mount, stands at the top end of the village with spectacular views across the Vale of Evesham towards the Malvern Hills. There are many delightful walks along the Cotswold Way and on the edge of the village there is a traditional cricket club and an Equestrian Centre.
There is also the parish church of St. Michael, with the building you see today dating back to the 15th century.
Nearby Broadway and Winchcombe offer a good range of shops and services, whilst Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham are the main shopping and cultural centres for the region. There is a main line rail service to London Paddington from either Evesham or Moreton-in-Marsh and access to the M5 via junction 9 (Tewkesbury) is about 11 miles away.
