Oystercatcher is nestled in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside and is approached via a tree lined avenue. This beautifully presented single storey mews style property is set within the prestigious development of a late Georgian rectory, with communal woodland and grounds extending to approximately to 2.5 acres.
Built within the pretty Victorian walled garden of the Old Vicarage, this cottage has been named after a resident oystercatcher who is often spotted striding the garden walls. The two larger bedrooms have direct access into these gardens and the single room has wonderful views across the meadows and woodlands. The good sized private enclosed rear garden has an outdoor dining area and barbecue and is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the tranquil meadow views with its many visitors, such as oystercatchers, barn owls, mallard, pheasants, French and English partridge, curlew, graylag and barnacle geese and various plover and waders on the marshland beyond.
A short walk will bring you to the centre of this medieval village with its quaint tea rooms, art galleries, antique shops, food pubs and a handmade chocolate and ice cream shop. There are also many places of historic interest, various cycle routes and an abundance of scenic walking, including the 20 acre grounds of Walsingham Abbey, especially beautiful when the snow drops have opened. There are award winning places to eat, such as the Norfolk Riddle restaurant, its adjoining fish and chip shop and the Great Walsingham Barns, serving award winning pies and amazing roast diners. There is also a renowned local farm shop and butcher supplying excellent home grown produce.

Clock Cottage is a pretty, comfortably furnished, traditional brick and flint end-of-terrace cottage in the charming north Norfolk village of East Rudham, in a quiet road.
Built around 1815, the cottage was once the home of Mr Higgins, a local clock maker in the mid-Victorian period. The clock on the outside of the cottage dates back to this time.
The village boasts a good butchers, a small shop selling newspapers and bread as well as a lovely gift shop and tea room serving yummy cakes, one of the most visited shops in Norfolk. The excellent "gastro" pub called The Crown is owned by celebrity chef Chris Coubrough. The village tennis court, a playing field and bowling club are nearby. For keen walkers the area is ideal for enjoying the coastal paths. Sculthorpe nature reserve with excellent birdwatching is 5 minutes away and there is also excellent birdwatching at both Titchwell and Holme nature reserves.
East Rudham is located between Kings Lynn and Fakenham and is well placed for those wishing to explore the pretty market towns of Burnham Market, Holt and King's Lynn as well as the North Norfolk coastline - the sandy beaches of Wells, Hunstanton and Holme are a short distance by car. The market town of Fakenham is a 10 minute drive with its good selection of shops, eateries and pubs. Fakenham has an excellent market on a Thursday and a visit to the auction rooms on the same day can be very educational. Stately homes abound with the deer parks of Houghton Hall and Holkham Hall, whilst Sandringham Estate is within easy reach.

Riverside Cottage is the end terrace of a converted watermill on the banks of the River Waveney on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Set in the heart of a conservation area, with river frontage and fishing rights, Riverside Cottage is the perfect holiday location for a secluded, romantic retreat. It also makes an ideal cycling base, situated on National Cycle Network route 30. It has a private jetty, a four person rowing boat and a small, private island accessed via a wooden bridge. Visitors to the garden include swans, deer, kingfishers, ducks and numerous other bird species. Fish include chubb, pike and perch. The river runs the full length of the garden and along the bank are bulrushes, water iris, lilies and reeds. Convenient shopping is available in the busy market town of Harleston, three miles away. The Heritage Coast is within easy reach and includes the resorts of Southwold and Felixstowe.
