Accommodation overview: The Coach House is a classic Cotswold property in so many ways. A converted barn (formerly the Coach House to the Vicarage as you'd expect!) it contains many attractive features that give it that traditional and welcoming feel. The huge, spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, cream washed walls, oak flooring and open fire set the scene perfectly, with the idyllic view towards the village church simply gorgeous. The barn is set in the grounds of one of the finest houses in this village, and within one of the most 'sort-after' Cotswolds villages - Swinbrook. Within walking distance is the popular and highly regarded pub - The Swan. There are many walks from your front door, including one along the Windrush Valley to Burford. This is excellent location and excellent cottage ideal for two or even four with the extra beds available. The cottage, which is over 200 years old and was once the lodge to the Lower Moor Manor, has a wealth of period features, including original flagstone and wooden flooring and wood burning stove. The owners have cleverly mixed old and new to make it a very charming home. There is a lovely garden and super views to the south. The property is located just 15 mins level walk from Hay centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Accommodation overview: Peter's Nest Cottage is a delightful Cotswold cottage set within a clearing called "Peter's Nest Wood", also known mysteriously as Hell's Throat!! It is the original cottage of the Woodwells farmstead (marked on an 1847 map) and is a location particularly popular as a meeting place for sociable pheasants! The cottage is at the end of a track and is best described as a truly peaceful location, ideal for those who like to get away from it all. Internally the cottage has an open plan feel on the ground floor and bedroom upstairs set within the eaves. The cottage is located on the famous Owlpen Estate, which has long been recognised as one of England's most romantic early manor houses and one which Prince Charles describes as one of his favourites. ACCOMMODATION: The accommodation is presented in a simple and traditional style that would make the cottage perfect for getting away from the city. Downstairs, the property is entered through the welcoming Kitchen, which leads down into the Living Room - a room that has wonderful views across the woods and into the Owlpen valley, woodburning stove. Accommodation overview: This pretty detached cottage sits on the edge of the creek with gardens extending to the banks. A stable door leads into an open plan ground floor with beamed ceiling.
The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with a breakfast bar. Beyond the kitchen is the dining area and a comfortable sitting area with French windows opening onto an attractive small patio and lawn on the quay side.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, all with waterside views, one with a double bed, another with twin divans and wash basin and a children's room with 2ft 6in bunk beds. The bathroom is fitted with a W.C., basin and shower over the bath.
Both Bodinnick and Polruan, which are in easy walking distance, have popular Inns providing good pub food. Fowey, with its rich variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes is 1.5 miles via the Bodinnick car / pedestrian ferry or half a mile down the creek by boat.
Guests from Pont House and Pont Quay Cottage may use this private quay, slipway and foreshore for their own and hire boats with the prior agreement of the owner. Pets are welcome at Pont but must be kept under control at all times to protect the abundant wildlife. There is a seasonal shop at Penmarlam campsite 1 mile away.

Accommodation overview: Mere Coach House is a simply stunning! A large, detached house located down a long drive on the edge of the premium (and quite famous) Cotswolds village of Fairford, it offers just about everything you could wish for when looking for an exclusive holiday home. Inside, the owners have created a very welcoming and stylish yet quirky home with large rooms throughout and four fabulous bedroom suites, each with bathrooms. From our perspective, we found the kitchen/diner the real heart of the house, warm and inviting with its huge Aga, and enjoying superb views across the private gardens and paddock beyond, both of which are perfect for children (and adults of course!) to play ball games. This is one for the family, it is also one for friends too given it's superb layout and location in this historic village. There is little not to like in this house, so we're quite certain you will have a fabulous and memorable holiday here.
