Accommodation overview: Lower Barn Cottage, Winson is a magnificent Cotswolds holiday cottage set in one of the most delightful and unspoilt villages of the region. Renovated to a very exacting standard by its owners, this holiday cottage is an absolute gem with every care taken to ensure that the accommodation is of the highest standard. Internally the property retains many classic features including an Aga and open fire and is presented in a wonderfully cosy yet modern style that absolutely fits 'the feel' of the cottage. Externally the cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's home overlooking private gardens with river frontage and rolling Cotswolds Hills beyond. In every resepct this we recommend this self catering cottage. We fell in love with the location the moment we drove through the private gates - it really is the ideal spot for friends or family to relax and unwind and to enjoy the open space that this location affords. Accommodation overview: Somerford Cottage is a quintessential English country cottage set in the heart of a beautiful and classic Cotswold village, itself located in the southern Cotswolds. The property, which has a history dating back hundreds of years, was once part of the village's Manor House, offers lovely large rooms throughout, all presented in an attractive and stylish fashion, with careful attention given to mixing contemporary furniture with traditional cottage features. Of particular appeal is the spacious living area, which is light, airy and inviting. As one would expect with a property of such history there are delightful, mature gardens, which customers can enjoy (see below*), in fact the owners are able to offer seasonal 'home grown produce' to customers - wonderful!! Locally, the village of Great Somerford is a thriving community with an excellent local shop and pub both within a 5 minute walk. We consider this holiday cottage as ideal for families or small groups who want to enjoy a traditional Cotswold location with good facilities nearby and good access to a wealth of local attractions. The garden is located approx 10 paces across a short gravel driveway. Parents should note that there is a pond with fish and that children should not be left unattended at the pond. We ask customers to be considerate when using the garden both for the owners and also because they are of local importance from a floral perspective. Any Day changeover, except July and August and school holidays, when changeovers must be on a Saturday. Heating and electricity included. Sorry No Pets. Children Welcome. LOCATIONGreat Somerford (part of 'The Somerfords) is a traditional village situated in the southern Cotswolds, deep in the heart of Wiltshire's Clay Vale, sandwiched between the limestone belt of the Cotswolds and the chalklands of the Malborough Downs. Amongst a few 'claims to fame' is the fact that the village is believed to have the country's oldest allotment with notes of a private growing dating back to 1809! Nearby is the market town of Malmesbury, which has a beautiful church, with Tetbury. 15 mins drive, an antique collectors heaven a little further away. Westonbirt Arboretum, with its amazing walks and forests is within 2o minutes drive. Bath, in particular, is a convenient drive away as are a wide variety of Cotswold attractions and attractive villages.

Accommodation overview: Only a few minutes from the coastal path and in a wonderful area for walkers, with lovely country views, this attractive detached granite cottage is set in the picturesque farming hamlet of Bosorne on the brow of a hill overlooking Cot Valley which runs down to the boulder strewn beach and rugged coast to the south of Cape Cornwall.
Approached from a lane through a walled and gated grassy garden the front door opens into a small lobby, a wide central hallway with ample hanging space to one side with stairs winding up to the floor above. Off the hall is a very spacious sitting room with a high ceiling and a rather grand granite fireplace. On the other side of the hall is a recently enlarged, attractive kitchen / dining room with modern fitted units and beyond a utility room. There is a new downstairs shower room W.C. with hand basin and a door to a service courtyard at the rear where there are sheds for storage etc.
Upstairs are a bathroom with hand basin and hand shower fitment to the bath, a separate W.C. and three bedrooms, two with a glimpse of the sea at the mouth of the valley. There is one kingsize double room, one twin bedded room and one with bunk beds. From the front garden a side gate and two steps leads up to a part walled grassy garden at one end of the cottage, ideal for older children. The shops and amenities of St Just are about a mile.
