Gifted to the nation in 1986 by Richard, the current and 7th Earl of Bradford, Weston is now owned and maintained by the Weston Park Foundation, an independent charitable trust.

The formal lines of the 19th century gardens fuse dramatically with the naturalistic style fashioned by Capability Brown in the 18th century.

Choose from 28 (22 doubles, four double/twin and two singles) bedrooms located within the House, all of which are furnished with family heirlooms, antique furniture and original paintings along with televisions, fluffy towels and robes. Every room has either an en-suite or private bathroom with views of either the formal gardens, ‘Capability’ Brown Parkland or the Temple of Diana. Fully manned with butlers, chefs and housekeepers.

During the Park open seasons, children can enjoy the woodland adventure playground with its slides, zip wire, cargo net and miniature railway. Little ones will enjoy the activity room with a fabulous traverse wall, board games and dressing up boxes!

Accommodation overview: Set at the head of Swaledale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Arngill Cottage was originally built as Mukers Wesleyan Chapel in 1845, converted into cottages in the 1940s and lovingly renovated over the last years, now offering a charming and well equipped character cottage. It has a stone flagged entrance hall, feature staircase curving to a balustrated landing on the first floor, solid oak floor boards, lime-washed walls, a large open plan living area with beamed ceiling, window seats, stone and lime rendered fireplace with wood-burning stove. The kitchen is stone flagged with vaulted ceiling, original, exposed beams and a hand crafted kitchen incorporating pine panelling from the original chapel. Crispin Cox comprises two of ten luxury lodges in the peaceful, idyllic surroundings of Constable Country, near Stoke by Nayland in Suffolk. They're perfect for romantic escapes, cosy family and friends reunions and golf and spa breaks for six guests. Spacious and bright, each of the two floors offers a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining area which features floor-to-ceiling windows at one end, with patio doors leading out onto large balconies looking out over the beautiful Suffolk countryside - just perfect for a leisurely breakfast or BBQ, a spot of sunbathing or perhaps an evening cocktail or two as the sun goes down. On the ground floor there are two spacious en suite double bedrooms, and on the first floor there is a luxurious penthouse en suite bedroom with high ceilings and chandelier. Odd Nod is one of a small group of picturesque thatched cottages lying in the beautiful and peaceful hamlet of Coombe Keynes, a place mentioned in the Domesday Book. The cottage is grade II listed and tastefully restored. There is a south facing garden stretching out on to open farmland offering lovely views out over fields. There is great walking both around the cottage itself where hares, pheasants and deer can often be spotted, and owls heard. Coombe Keynes is just around three miles from Lulworth Cove with its sheltered pebble beach, and within easy range of the dramatic and beautiful Dorset coast including Durdle Door. Good country pubs abound nearby, while restaurants and cinemas can be found less than half an hour away in Dorchester and Wareham. Melmerby Hall details

Melmerby Hall is a Grade II listed manor house nestling in the foothills of the North Pennines, one of 40 classified Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is set within its own sandstone walled grounds, which are entered through an arched gateway at the edge of the village.

The grounds include an archery lawn, walled vegetable gardens and a Victorian castle folly at the foot of the lawn (now converted to a children's play area). The forested grounds of 20 acres incorporate a small tributary of the River Eden with picnic area and stone barbecue by the stream.

The village of Melmerby is in the Eden Valley, lying between the Pennines and the Lake District, 12 miles from Ullswater and nine miles from the historic market town of Penrith.

There are a number of outstanding walks along the edge of the River Eden. One of England's largest Druidic stone circles - Long Meg and her Daughters - is also close by.

Melmerby is the home of the Egon Ronay award-winning organic village bakery which also serves fantastic meals and takeaway/coffee snacks. The Shepherds Inn at Langwathby, has good reviews for its food, service and friendly atmosphere.

Guests have access to a free swimming voucher programme with the Tower House indoor pool in the village of Melmerby which is a short walk from the property. The Tower House pool has a resistant current lap lane, a sauna and showers.
