Accommodation overview: Granary Cottage, Blackwell is a Four Star rated self catering cottage set in the heart of the Northern Cotswolds, and a convenient distance from Chipping Campden and also Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. This lovely holiday cottage is set within the peaceful grounds of the owners home and is surrounded by some fine rolling Cotswolds' countryside. As one would expect from such a location it is ideal for walks, but it is equally perfect for enjoying many classic Cotswold spots including some National Trust gardens and ever popular market towns such as Stow on the Wold. Internally the cottage is presented in immaculate condition with good thought given to the period property whilst providing many modern facilities throughout that will give customers, in our opinion, a delightful experience and at excellent price. Added to this is access to a paddock AND a super games room with 'pub style' pool table!! Even though we saw this cottage on a damp day, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are quite certain that you will too.ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to hallway with boot storage and hanging space with cloakroomKitchen is a contemporary and a good size. The village of Armscote is about 15 minutes walk away and has a wonderful local pub, The Fox & Goose, with open fires and great food. Stratford-upon-Avon is eight miles away and there are several National Trust properties within a few miles. Shipston-on-Stour, a delightful market town with a wide range of independent shops, and Ilmington, a lovely Cotswold village with the famous Howard Arms pub with great food and atmosphere, are both 2-3 miles away. Chipping Campden, described historically as having Britain's most beautiful village street, is a short drive away

Accommodation overview: The Cottage is a traditional Cotswold stone cottage set in the heart of Moreton in Marsh, (see images), just a short walk from all its appealing amenities. Part of The Cottage dates back to the 17th Century, when it was once a toll keeper's cottage for the Moreton-in-Marsh market! Today the property retains many period features including an inglenook fireplace, beams and flagstone uneven floors(!) and mullion windows, which combined with the modern comforts create a homely holiday cottage. The cottage also has a small, pretty back garden. We feel this cottage represents excellent value for money. Midsummer Cottage is a delightful 17th century Grade II listed Cotswold stone cottage with a very pretty garden. It is beautifully furnished and renovated to a very high standard. The sitting room has original exposed beams and a woodburner set in a traditional stone fireplace.
Stanton is one of the prettiest villages lying within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Little has changed in over 300 years and the houses are built in typical Cotswolds style. Midsummer Cottage is in the centre of this very peaceful village.
The village inn, The Mount, stands at the top end of the village with spectacular views across the Vale of Evesham towards the Malvern Hills. There are many delightful walks along the Cotswold Way and on the edge of the village there is a traditional cricket club and an Equestrian Centre.
There is also the parish church of St. Michael, with the building you see today dating back to the 15th century.
Nearby Broadway and Winchcombe offer a good range of shops and services, whilst Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham are the main shopping and cultural centres for the region. There is a main line rail service to London Paddington from either Evesham or Moreton-in-Marsh and access to the M5 via junction 9 (Tewkesbury) is about 11 miles away.

Accommodation overview: The Court House ETC 4 Star, is a charming Grade I listed Stuart garden building from circa 1620. It has been imaginatively converted to provide a chic little cottage for two to four adults in the heart of the beautiful Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Originally, it was a banqueting house or gazebo, but more recently it has become known as the Manor's 'Court House', because here the successive Lords of the Manor of Owlpen would have held their Court Leet or 'Hamilton' - the "trying of their servants and tenants for petty offences"! ACCOMMODATION: Downstairs is the Kitchen and Bathroom, with a little loggia restored as an attractive Dining Room. The glass doors, divided by a simple Tuscan column, frame a view of the East Wing of Owlpen's Manor House.First Floor Please note: reached via a steep, narrow spiral staircase, leading to a Sitting Room in the old Justice Room.
