Well and Stable cottage are set in a secluded, peaceful location on a small farm and enjoy far reaching and uninterupted views.

There are large grass lawned areas with seating, pinic tables and barbeque, ideal for children and dogs (no restriction on size or number of dogs)

The cottages are fully equiped with all essential appliances including dish washer, a washing machine and tumble drier are also available to guests.

Renovated to a very exacting standard by its owners, this holiday cottage is an absolute gem with every care taken to ensure that the accommodation is of the highest standard. Internally the property retains many classic features including an Aga and open fire and is presented in a wonderfully cosy yet modern style that absolutely fits 'the feel' of the cottage. Externally the cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's home overlooking private gardens with river frontage and rolling Cotswolds Hills beyond. In every resepct this we recommend this self catering cottage. We fell in love with the location the moment we drove through the private gates - it really is the ideal spot for friends or family to relax and unwind and to enjoy the open space that this location affords. The Pavilion details

The Pavilion has unrivalled views of the beautiful rolling countryside. Full-length French windows running the length of the property afford a 180 degree panorama of farmland and woods stretching five miles in every direction. The bucolic setting is second to none: although on the edge of a quintessential Cotswold village, here you will feel at one with nature, away from it all.

Built in the 1990s in a style reminiscent of the colonial era, the Pavilion was until recently a writer's retreat. The interior has been refurbished to the highest standard by designer Susie Stocks, whose restful palette complements the landscape beyond. There is a veranda along its southern side, with a private decked area and lawn one end, and a patio the other. The fields beyond are 'Footpath Central' where it is not unusual to happen upon deer.

Within 10 minutes' drive are a host of top quality pubs, including the Feathered Nest in Westcote, the Plough in Kingham and the Kings Head in Bledington. Stow-on-the-Wold. Daylesford Farm Shop, Burford (with its famous Wildlife Park) and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within five miles. Oxford and Stratford-Upon-Avon are half an hours' drive away. Kingham station (90 minutes from Paddington) is two miles away.

October Cottage is situated in the very pretty Parish of Chalford which lies four miles south east of Stroud on the north side of the River Frome. Situated on the side of Chalford Hill the cottage is approached via a steep narrow lane. In this part of Gloucestershire the Cotswolds are cut by deep gorge-like valleys opening out westward into the Severn plain.

The village has a store where you can purchase fresh produce, the Lavender Bake House coffee shop, a Tesco Express and a fish and chip shop. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area. The award winning Farmers Market at Stroud is on Saturdays.

Minchinhampton has two golf courses which are open to visitors (two miles), Nailsworth ( four miles), the market towns of Tetbury (five) miles and Cirencester (10 miles).

The local pub the Farriers Arms, serving local ales, is a five-minute walk away, although booking is recommended. The Cotswolds market town of Moreton-in-Marsh with its mainline railway station is three miles distant.
