Situated on a lake with a peaceful view across the water towards other contemporary properties, it has a Scandinavian style with a fabulous decked 'patio-area' which literally sits on the lake! Accommodation overview: Little Stalls is a beautiful, one bedroom barn conversion located in truly peaceful surroundings on the edge of a working farm deep in Cotswolds countryside. The property has undergone a painstaking and complete refurbishment to provide the highest quality in self catering accommodation. No detail has been left with the result a truly superb holiday cottage. The barn is on the edge of the village of Kemble, a traditional Cotswold village that is well located for touring the Cotswold region. In our opinion Little Stalls is a wonderful Cotswold bolt-hole offering real peace and tranquility. The village itself has a small shop and also the benefit of a train station with direct links to London. This has to be one of our finest holiday cottages. Accommodation overview: Mere Coach House is a simply stunning! A large, detached house located down a long drive on the edge of the premium (and quite famous) Cotswolds village of Fairford, it offers just about everything you could wish for when looking for an exclusive holiday home. Inside, the owners have created a very welcoming and stylish yet quirky home with large rooms throughout and four fabulous bedroom suites, each with bathrooms. From our perspective, we found the kitchen/diner the real heart of the house, warm and inviting with its huge Aga, and enjoying superb views across the private gardens and paddock beyond, both of which are perfect for children (and adults of course!) to play ball games. This is one for the family, it is also one for friends too given it's superb layout and location in this historic village. There is little not to like in this house, so we're quite certain you will have a fabulous and memorable holiday here. Accommodation overview: Granary Cottage, Blackwell is a Four Star rated self catering cottage set in the heart of the Northern Cotswolds, and a convenient distance from Chipping Campden and also Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. This lovely holiday cottage is set within the peaceful grounds of the owners home and is surrounded by some fine rolling Cotswolds' countryside. As one would expect from such a location it is ideal for walks, but it is equally perfect for enjoying many classic Cotswold spots including some National Trust gardens and ever popular market towns such as Stow on the Wold. Internally the cottage is presented in immaculate condition with good thought given to the period property whilst providing many modern facilities throughout that will give customers, in our opinion, a delightful experience and at excellent price. Added to this is access to a paddock AND a super games room with 'pub style' pool table!! Even though we saw this cottage on a damp day, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are quite certain that you will too.ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to hallway with boot storage and hanging space with cloakroomKitchen is a contemporary and a good size. The village of Armscote is about 15 minutes walk away and has a wonderful local pub, The Fox & Goose, with open fires and great food. Stratford-upon-Avon is eight miles away and there are several National Trust properties within a few miles. Shipston-on-Stour, a delightful market town with a wide range of independent shops, and Ilmington, a lovely Cotswold village with the famous Howard Arms pub with great food and atmosphere, are both 2-3 miles away.
