The property has undergone a painstaking and complete refurbishment to provide the highest quality in self catering accommodation. No detail has been left with the result a truly superb holiday cottage. The barn is on the edge of the village of Kemble, a traditional Cotswold village that is well located for touring the Cotswold region. In our opinion Little Stalls is a wonderful Cotswold bolt-hole offering real peace and tranquility. The village itself has a small shop and also the benefit of a train station with direct links to London. This has to be one of our finest holiday cottages. Broadwell is a very pretty village with lovely Cotswold stone cottages. It has a gentle stream running through the village with a ford, and a wide village green which is overlooked by the very hospitable Fox Inn.
Close by is the pretty town of Stow-on-the-Wold with its wide variety of boutique shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. Visit Bourton-on-the-Water with its many attractions and also the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
The upmarket Daylesford Organic Farm Shop at Kingham with its cafe is only six miles away.
There are many walks from the village for guests wishing to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Midsummer Cottage is a delightful 17th century Grade II listed Cotswold stone cottage with a very pretty garden. It is beautifully furnished and renovated to a very high standard. The sitting room has original exposed beams and a woodburner set in a traditional stone fireplace.
Stanton is one of the prettiest villages lying within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Little has changed in over 300 years and the houses are built in typical Cotswolds style. Midsummer Cottage is in the centre of this very peaceful village.
The village inn, The Mount, stands at the top end of the village with spectacular views across the Vale of Evesham towards the Malvern Hills. There are many delightful walks along the Cotswold Way and on the edge of the village there is a traditional cricket club and an Equestrian Centre.
There is also the parish church of St. Michael, with the building you see today dating back to the 15th century.
Nearby Broadway and Winchcombe offer a good range of shops and services, whilst Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham are the main shopping and cultural centres for the region. There is a main line rail service to London Paddington from either Evesham or Moreton-in-Marsh and access to the M5 via junction 9 (Tewkesbury) is about 11 miles away.

Accommodation overview: Wadham Cottage is a fine and charming Cotswold holiday cottage set very convenient for the the centre of this very popular village. The property is located within a traditional terrace of old worker cottages, which were originally called the 'Church Cottages'. Today the property, as you would expect with such history, including a strong association with Wadham College, Oxford, has many Cotswolds features including the classic beams that make the rooms so cosy. The cottage was updated in recent years and provides very comfortable accommodation for two or possibly four with a second bedroom on the top floor*. Of particular appeal is the fact that the attractions of Bourton on the Water are approximately 2 minutes walk away! ACCOMMODATIONEntrance to the property is through to kitchen. Although there is a 'front' door, entry to and from the cottage is better through the 'back' door.Kitchen, well equipped, with gas hob and gas oven/grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment plus a traditional Welsh dresser. There are washing facilities in the outhouse. There is a dining table with four chairs.
