A truly classic Grade II listed Cotswold cottage with one of the most typical cottage gardens imaginable, this holiday cottage is one of our favourites for many good reasons. The garden and courtyard, to start with with, are just perfect, packed with colour and activity, ideal for sitting out and enjoying moments of real peace. Internally, the house has retained all it warmth and quirky charm with a lovely Rayburn in the kitchen, beams, exposed walls and open fire all creating a thoroughly charming experience, a real 'home from home' feeling. Externally, the cottage enjoys a lovely quiet position, yet situated in the heart of village which itself has the benefit of excellent access to the many attractions found in the Cotswolds' lakes. Just ideal for families, friends or a romantic get away. Originally built in 1850 this old coach house has been converted to provide high quality accommodation in the grounds of the owners stunning home. Located just yards from the centre of the village, yet tucked away in a quiet corner, this cottage is a short stroll from the village pub (The Oak is recommended) and also the village's tennis courts. Situated in a quiet spot within South Cerney, itself near to the heart of the Cotswold Water Park we're delighted to have this little belter on our books. Packed with period features throughout including beams, exposed stone walls and an open fire this really is a classic Cotswold cottage. The current owners have carefully renovated the cottage to create a charming and inviting home which is absolutely ideal for enjoying the region or for making the most of the Water Park's facilities. Externally the rear garden is private and enclosed, while to the front (and particularly memorable) is a truly typical English village scene: period houses and cottages surrounding grassy banks which overlook streams with a sweet little bridge! Even more inviting are the local pubs which are within a short walk too.
