Accommodation overview: The Pennyghael Estate covers approx. 10,000 acres, stretching from the shores of Loch Scridain southwards to the sea cliffs at Carsaig, overlooking Jura, Islay and Colonsay, and westwards for 5 miles from Pennyghael village. There is abundant wildlife on this beautiful island and visitors may see otters, red deer, sea eagles and golden eagles. For hill-walking, Mull has endless opportunities and there are splendid coastal walks along rugged unspoilt shores. On the estate, loch fishing for brown trout is free and shooting in season can be arranged at an extra charge. Easy access to nearby lona for day visits on the ferry, or take a boat trip to see seals, whales and a wide variety of sea birds. Each of these three appealing properties is in a lovely private location and has superb views - garden table and chairs are provided for relaxing outdoors and there is plenty of space for children to play in the fresh air. This lovely traditional detached farmhouse has a spectacular open outlook over Killunaig Reef, with its resident population of seals, to Loch Scridain and across to Ben More, the islands highest mountain and only Munro. The farmhouse stands in its own steading with a walled grassed garden to the front and gravelled farm square at the rear. It dates back to the mid 19th Century and has been modernised to a high standard. The large rooms are comfortably furnished. Accommodation overview: Drimdarroch Farm Steading Cottage is a beautiful detached converted steading located on a working farm near the small village of Strachur, which lies on the east shore of Loch Fyne.  The open plan kitchen with dining and lounge area has oak flooring and is spacious and light. The kitchen has been completed to a very high standard with corian worktops and sink, soft closing unit doors, large stove style cooker and is very well equipped. The large wooden farmhouse table provides space for everyone to dine together. There is a vaulted ceiling over the lounge area and the gable end is fully glazed to provide a superb view over Loch Fyne. Doors lead onto the patio area, sheltered on one side by an outbuilding, with a great view to the countryside. Downstairs there is a twin bedroom, bunk room and bathroom; with a further two large double bedrooms upstairs, both with en suite facilities.
