The many scenic and historic attractions of the Border country are all close at hand and the lovely beaches of Berwick and Holy Island are also easily accessible. Kelso (6 miles) offers a good choice of shops inns and restaurant and is also the home of Floors Castle and the famous Kelso Horse Races whilst Edinburgh with its magnificent castle museums galleries and excellent shopping is only a 35 mile drive. Fly fishing can be arranged locally and several golf course are found nearby. There are tea rooms in the courtyard and shops and pubs are just 3½ miles away.
