The pretty market towns of Chipping Campden, Broadway and Moreton-in-Marsh are only a short drive away as is the Daylesford Organic Farm Shop in Kingham.

This holiday cottage makes an ideal base for enjoying the gardens at Hidcote Manor and Kiftsgate Court and for visiting several National Trust properties and Oxford, Blenheim Palace to the South and Stratford-upon-Avon to the North.

The property, which is located in a quiet corner of the Lower Mill Village, is a detached home sitting on the banks of a River Thames tributary with views looking towards the lakes beyond. In fact the owner tells us if you like to fish, you can't be better situated - fishing on your own private lake!! This particular holiday cottage has many positive elements as well as its location but in particular it has access to a large and private garden area which sits overlooking the lake and which is exclusive to guests in this cottage! Internally, the owner has maintained the cottage to a high standard and provides a contemporary holiday home ideal for families or small groups alike. Naturally the outdoor facilities, including the outdoor heated pool and tennis court not to mention the endless walks and cycle rides make this a very desirable cottage. Accommodation overview: The Court House ETC 4 Star, is a charming Grade I listed Stuart garden building from circa 1620. It has been imaginatively converted to provide a chic little cottage for two to four adults in the heart of the beautiful Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Originally, it was a banqueting house or gazebo, but more recently it has become known as the Manor's 'Court House', because here the successive Lords of the Manor of Owlpen would have held their Court Leet or 'Hamilton' - the "trying of their servants and tenants for petty offences"! ACCOMMODATION: Downstairs is the Kitchen and Bathroom, with a little loggia restored as an attractive Dining Room. The village boasts the well known Motor Museum (home of Brum), the Model Village, Birdland and Model Railway Exhibition. A superb location in all respects. (There are local buses running to Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold and Cirencester just 200 yards for the cottage. Needless to say many pretty villages such as Bibury, Lower Slaughter, Upper Slaughter, Blockley are all nearby. Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham are all nearby.
