Well and Stable cottage are set in a secluded, peaceful location on a small farm and enjoy far reaching and uninterupted views.

Inglenook Cottage is the epitomy of a chocolate-box cottage, and has featured on postcards, in books and in the press. It’s bursting with character and lies with many other thatched properties in the idyllic village of Broad Campden.

300 years old, the Grade II listed cottage used to be the village smithy, and it has a huge inglenook fireplace, complete with seat and bread oven. You can cosy up in front of a roaring log fire. There are countless exposed beams, a stone staircase and ancient wooden floorboards. Odd Nod is one of a small group of picturesque thatched cottages lying in the beautiful and peaceful hamlet of Coombe Keynes, a place mentioned in the Domesday Book. The cottage is grade II listed and tastefully restored. There is a south facing garden stretching out on to open farmland offering lovely views out over fields. There is great walking both around the cottage itself where hares, pheasants and deer can often be spotted, and owls heard. Coombe Keynes is just around three miles from Lulworth Cove with its sheltered pebble beach, and within easy range of the dramatic and beautiful Dorset coast including Durdle Door. Good country pubs abound nearby, while restaurants and cinemas can be found less than half an hour away in Dorchester and Wareham. Shops, pubs and other amenities can also be found in Wool which is 1.6 miles away.

Rosemundy Villa details

Rosemundy Villa is a detached Grade II listed Georgian house set on the North Cornwall coast in the attractive village of St Agnes which is both a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site. St Agnes lies nine miles north of the cathedral city of Truro and Newquay airport is easily accessible.

There is a good choice of local shops, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. St Agnes has two excellent sandy beaches; Trevaunance Cove ( a ten minute walk downhill) and Chapel Porth which is owned by the National Trust. Both are popular with all ages from families rock pooling to keen surfers. Surf lessons and equipment hire are available at Trevaunance Cove and coasteering and guided kayaking are further options. For the less adventurous St Agnes is known as a centre for arts and crafts and there are many workshops and galleries. It is also a superb area for walking including round St Agnes Beacon which is owned by the National Trust.

Forthampton Court details

The property is a modernised spacious, self-contained wing of an important Grade II listed manor house, close to the west bank of the river Severn on the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border. It has been redecorated to a very high standard and is furnished throughout with antique furniture and decorative prints.

Parts of the house date back to the 15th century, including the Medieval Great Hall built by the Abbots of the Benedictine monastery at Tewkesbury (four miles). Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn are believed to have stayed here in July 1535. The present owners are the eighth generation to own the manor and its estate. The wing was added circa 1890 by the Arts and Crafts architect, Philip Webb.

Cheltenham with its racecourse, literary and music festivals and shops is 12 miles away. The cities of Gloucester and Worcester with their museums and cathedrals are both 25 minutes away. The nearby Malvern Hills and Bredon Hill provide excellent walking opportunities. There are several historic houses to be visited locally, among which Eastnor Castle (Ledbury) and Sudeley Castle (Winchcombe) are prominent. The Cotswolds' western escarpment with the gardens of Kiftsgate and Hidcote and the picturesque town of Broadway are easily reached. There are 18-hole golf courses at Puckrup (six miles) and Tewkesbury Park (five miles). The nearest pub is the approximately half a mile from the property and serves traditional food and ales. For racing enthusiasts Cheltenham Racecourse is only a 20-minute drive away.
