The house has been developed specifically for large groups with accommodation up to 16+ available. The house is surrounded by fields and paddocks and, in our opinion, is simply ideal for large gatherings of friends and/or families. Externally the house sits in an acre size plot on the edge of the village (see below) and is well located for the popular market towns of Chipping Norton, Moreton in Marsh and Stow on the Wold. Similarly near by are a host of beautiful Cotswold villages. Accommodation overview: Only a few minutes from the coastal path and in a wonderful area for walkers, with lovely country views, this attractive detached granite cottage is set in the picturesque farming hamlet of Bosorne on the brow of a hill overlooking Cot Valley which runs down to the boulder strewn beach and rugged coast to the south of Cape Cornwall.
Approached from a lane through a walled and gated grassy garden the front door opens into a small lobby, a wide central hallway with ample hanging space to one side with stairs winding up to the floor above. Off the hall is a very spacious sitting room with a high ceiling and a rather grand granite fireplace. On the other side of the hall is a recently enlarged, attractive kitchen / dining room with modern fitted units and beyond a utility room. There is a new downstairs shower room W.C. with hand basin and a door to a service courtyard at the rear where there are sheds for storage etc.
Upstairs are a bathroom with hand basin and hand shower fitment to the bath, a separate W.C. and three bedrooms, two with a glimpse of the sea at the mouth of the valley. There is one kingsize double room, one twin bedded room and one with bunk beds. From the front garden a side gate and two steps leads up to a part walled grassy garden at one end of the cottage, ideal for older children. The shops and amenities of St Just are about a mile.

Accommodation overview: Grist Mill is an early 18th Century watermill hidden at the bottom of the Owlpen valley, deep in the Southern edge of The Cotswolds. It is a 'listed' historic building, completely restored to provide wonderfully unique holiday cottage accommodation. Contemporary in comfort and style, the whole building is like a time warp, with unrivalled character and charm. There are many period features within the property, including beams and period furniture. Outside are the gigantic mill wheel and millpond - a haven for wild life. Accommodation overview: Set to one side of a quiet country lane between Cubert village and the sea, this 200 year old detached and double glazed cottage has been freshly renovated to a high standard and is surrounded by lovely countryside with glimpses of the sea on the horizon.
Well placed for access to Holywell Bay, 1 mile, Porth Joke and West Pentire beaches which can be reached by road or by public footpath to Cubert Common and the cliff path which links all three for the more energetic.
Entered through a glazed front porch with room for the storage of coats, an inner door leads directly into a bright and sunny, dual aspect sitting room with comfortable lounge seating arranged before the wood burning stove. Beyond is a recently enlarged modern kitchen/dining room with smart fitted units, quarry tiled floor and ample dining space; there is also a door to an enclosed paved courtyard with patio furniture and a shed for storage of beachgear.
Painted stairs lead up from the lounge to the first floor where there is a newly fitted bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and shower cubicle and two charming bedrooms with a 5ft king-size and twin beds respectively. From the master bedroom views of the sea on the horizon can be enjoyed.
The sheltered garden has a good sized level lawn and there is off road parking for two cars on the gravel drive which can be gated to enclose the garden. A lockable garage is also available and there is a seldom used right of way to one other cottage. The village has a grocery store/P.O., pub and two restaurants all within a 15 minute walk and there is a regular bus service to Newquay and the cathedral city of Truro.
The sandy beach at Holywell Bay is about 1 mile and Crantock 2.5 miles, with West Pentire slightly further where there is a summer passenger ferry to Newquay which with its amenities is 5 miles by road. The immediate vicinity provides several golf courses and riding stables, there are local walks across Cubert Common to the coastal footpath, a fun park nearby offers go karting and children’s amusements and Newquay Zoo and Sea Life Centre are about a 15 minute drive.

Accommodation overview: A spacious, comfortable double glazed detached family house, only a ten minute walk down the hill to the lovely sandy beach and the river Gannel estuary, on the outskirts of Crantock village. Set to one side of the road that leads down to the village square and beach car park, the property is entered through a gated driveway where there is space for three cars.
The front door opens into a small hallway and to one side is a warm and inviting sitting room with ample seating for eight people arranged before the fireplace with an electric flicker flame fire and sliding patio doors that lead out to the rear garden. On the opposite side of the hall is a very pleasant dining room with a door opening to a ground floor cosy double bedroom with dressing area and one step up to a tiny en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin.
At the rear of the property, a fully fitted galley kitchen can be reached both from the dining room and the sitting room, with a door to the garden and adjacent utility room with laundry facilities.
Upstairs are a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and large shower cubicle and three good size charming bedrooms all with vanity basins and built in wardrobes. There is a 5ft double, one with zip linked 3ft twin beds and a spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed to vary the sleeping arrangements. The rear garden has a lower patio and half a dozen steps leading up to a raised lawn, young children will require supervision as there are unguarded drops. A lockable garage is available for bikes, beachgear and surfboards and the garden is enclosed when the driveway is gated.
The village has a church, small shops, tea gardens and two pubs which offer food, all within a five minute walk and the lovely wide sandy beach backed by dunes is a further five minute walk. The holiday resort of Newquay, 3 miles by road, has a good selection of shops, a rail and coach station and many attractions including the Zoo and Sea Life Centre. There are also lovely coastal walks in the immediate area.
