They can also explore woodland bursting with bluebells and wild flowers in spring and summer; and see nesting buzzards, roe deer, foxes, badgers, hares and weasels – all abundant here due to careful environmental management. A cross country course takes guests who wish to bring their horses through woods and fields. The nearby beaches are also excellent for riding and dog walking.
Additionally, West Lodge is a single-storey cottage nestling behind beautiful stone pillars at the entrance to the estate, screened by mature woodland and handily placed for touring just 100 yards from the single-carriageway A1.
