Miss Murphy's House is a four storey Georgian holiday home in Teignmouth, just a minute or so from the seafront and amenities. There are five bedrooms; an attic twin, a small double and a family room on the second floor, and a double and another family room on the first floor. There are two bathrooms, and downstairs, a sitting room, dining area and kitchen. Outside is a private walled garden. Parking permits can be purchased to cover the area's public car parks, but there is no designated or roadside parking. The beach, seafront, shops, cafes and more are all just a few minutes' stroll from Miss Murphy's House, making it an ideal family base for a memorable seaside break.

Explore the many attractions in the area such as RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal which are both at Torrington. Hire cycles and ride or walk along the Tarka Trail (a disused railway line). The nearby small fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore are both worth a visit and from here you can hop on board and take a boat trip. Take a short drive over the estuary to the sandy beach and dunes of Instow. For those who want a little relaxation why not sit and enjoy a drink in the small enclosed patio area. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: vaulted double with sea views TV and separate vaulted dressing room with put-up bed or ideal for a cot. Bathroom: newly fitted with shower over bath and WC located downstairs and access through a low doorway. Lounge/diner: with TV DVD and hi-fi feature stone fireplace with woodburner (first basket of logs included October - March) and selection of books available.
