Accommodation overview: The Cottage is a traditional Cotswold stone cottage set in the heart of Moreton in Marsh, (see images), just a short walk from all its appealing amenities. Part of The Cottage dates back to the 17th Century, when it was once a toll keeper's cottage for the Moreton-in-Marsh market! Today the property retains many period features including an inglenook fireplace, beams and flagstone uneven floors(!) and mullion windows, which combined with the modern comforts create a homely holiday cottage. The cottage also has a small, pretty back garden.  We feel this cottage represents excellent value for money. ACCOMMODATION: Front door into spacious Sitting Room with two comfortable sofa and armchairs, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove.  Separate Dining Room with pine dining table and chairs. Utility area with washing machine leading to Cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin.. Kitchen newly fully fitted shaker style kitchen and equipped with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. New Sunroom with conservatory furniture. Door to cottage garden. First floor: Bedroom One, good size with with 5ft double bed. Accommodation overview: Just over a mile from the glorious sandy beach at Perranporth, this peaceful and detached single storey cottage, formerly a 19th century counting house is set in a large country garden with lovely rural views over open countryside. 

Offering total seclusion this comfortable,light and spacious family property is ideal for either a relaxing break at any time of the year or as a base for exploring the north coast with a wealth of sandy beaches and coastal walks nearby. 

Approached by a long and narrow unmade lane and gated gravel driveway with parking for at least 3 cars, a sloping path and a series of steps lead down to the front door which opens to a useful entrance porch.  An inner door leads directly into the bright and sunny kitchen area leading through to the adjacent dining room with a natural wood floor and views of the garden and countryside beyond.

A central hallway gives access to a sitting room with a high ceiling and comfortable lounge seating facing the fireplace and French windows open to a lovely conservatory with casual seating and tranquil views over the mature garden.  There are three pleasant bedrooms: a spacious master bedroom with a double bed, a smaller double bedroom and a single bedded room.  A bathroom W.C. with hand basin, heated towel rail and shower over the bath and an additional cloakroom W.C. completes the accommodation. 

The extensive sloping garden which surrounds Cregaminnis is ideal for older children to let off steam however toddlers, young children and pets will require supervision as there are some steep unprotected areas.  The seaside village of Perranporth is just over 1 mile away and has a wide expanse of fine golden sand popular with surfers and families alike with a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, and surf hire facilities suitable for everyday needs.

The nearest pub is at Bolingey which can be reached via a local footpath or 1 mile by road and there are also traditional village pubs in Mithian, St Agnes and Cubert all within a 5 mile radius.  There is a golf course and riding stables close by in addition to breathtaking cliff walks ideal for birdwatching at Cligga Head.  The cathedral city of Truro is about a 15minute drive.

Broadwell Farm, as photographed in "25 Beautiful Homes", is a Grade II listed 17th century farmhouse, providing self-catering holiday accommodation in the peaceful village of Broadwell.

Broadwell is a very pretty village with lovely Cotswold stone cottages. It has a gentle stream running through the village with a ford, and a wide village green which is overlooked by the very hospitable Fox Inn.

Close by is the pretty town of Stow-on-the-Wold with its wide variety of boutique shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. Visit Bourton-on-the-Water with its many attractions and also the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.

Accommodation overview: Only a five minute drive to the lovely sandy beaches at Mawgan Porth & Watergate Bay this spacious accommodation is in the major part of a 200 year old extended double glazed cottage and provides an ideal base for a family to explore the dramatic coastline and many attractive beaches on the North Cornish Coast.

From the shared brick paved drive a couple of steps and stable door open into the entrance porch with a tiled floor and coat hooks.  A further glazed inner door leads into the sitting room with a large double glazed window, wood burning stove with comfortable lounge seating. This light and spacious room leads onto the kitchen through a doorway opening into the bright and modern well equipped fitted kitchen with ample storage. A large archway leads through to the conservatory with a dining suite and an adjacent utility room with W.C. Sliding patio doors lead out to the securely enclosed walled courtyard garden from the conservatory with a sunny terrace, raised beds and a step up to a decking area. 

A carpeted staircase leads to the first floor with three light and pleasant bedrooms, a Kingsize double with digital TV, a twin and a single all with storage and a family bathroom W.C with hand basin and shower over the bath.To the front of the property is a shared open brick paved drive with two reserved parking spaces for Lighthouse cottage. There is a pub in the hamlet within five minutes’ walk.

Mawgan Porth 1.5 miles has a pub, café, surf hire and local store and for a wider selection of amenities the resort of Newquay is 5 miles with many beaches, a zoo, leisure centre, bowling, cinema and aquarium. The famous harbour at Padstow is 9 miles where you can enjoy one of Rick Stein’s many eateries, visit the Elizabethan house at Prideaux Place, cycle the Camel trail to Wadebridge or take a ferry across to Rock with access to the beaches at Damer Bay and Polzeath by foot. For the water enthusiast the Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay provides many water based activities 1 mile away and is home to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant. There are many golf courses in the area and the national Trust house Trerice and Lappa Valley Railway are within 6 miles.
