Riverside Cottage is a detached, beautifully renovated period thatched property with a private garden in the heart of one of the most attractive villages on the Roseland Peninsula. Veryan is famous for its thatched round houses and beautiful water garden which is opposite the holiday cottage.
There are excellent sandy beaches 1.5 miles away at Carne and Pendower. There is a village pub and a shop within walking distance. The pretty sailing village of St Mawes is 8 miles away. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Tate at St. Ives are within a 45-minute drive.

Accommodation overview: Peter's Nest Cottage is a delightful Cotswold cottage set within a clearing called "Peter's Nest Wood", also known mysteriously as Hell's Throat!! It is the original cottage of the Woodwells farmstead (marked on an 1847 map) and is a location particularly popular as a meeting place for sociable pheasants! The cottage is at the end of a track and is best described as a truly peaceful location, ideal for those who like to get away from it all. Internally the cottage has an open plan feel on the ground floor and bedroom upstairs set within the eaves. The cottage is located on the famous Owlpen Estate, which has long been recognised as one of England's most romantic early manor houses and one which Prince Charles describes as one of his favourites.
