Tucked away in a quiet cul de sac in the pretty village of Georgeham, Salar Cottage is within a short stroll of two traditional pubs and friendly local stores. Just over a mile of country lanes takes you to the absolutely stunning beach and coastline of Putsborough, found at the westerly end of Woolacombe' golden sands and one of the area's best kept secrets! Croyde village is less than two miles away with a lovely mix of thatched cottages, pubs, restaurants and colourful surf shops where the beach path meanders down to beautiful Croyde Bay, so popular with families and surfers at any time of year. Several steps lead down through pretty front gardens to the front entrance and into a spacious hallway. The stylish living /dining room has comfy leather sofas and a welcoming wood burning stove, perfect for cooler evenings or cosy out of season breaks. The well equipped kitchen and utility room have everything you need and a convenient cloakroom is located off the hallway. Stairs rise up to three attractive bedrooms with under floor heating and a separate modern bathroom with white suite completes the accommodation. The fully enclosed rear garden with lawn, mature trees and shrubs has as a fabulous decked patio area, just perfect for barbecues and leisurely al fresco meals. Renovated from an old dairy to a high standard, it is set in the owners own tranquil flower filled garden bordered by trout streams. To ensure year round comfort the open plan living room benefits from a wood burning stove, and is complemented with a reclaimed pine floor and vaulted beamed ceiling, together with the modern kitchen area which sits to one side. Accommodation is all on one level and includes a double bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The cottage is in a good location for exploring the area with quick access to the North Devon Link road, RHS Rosemoor is only a short drive away. A peaceful retreat with woodland walks on the doorstep, Bowood Barn is an ideal place to relax and unwind.
