Local attractions include The Big Sheep The Milky Way Dartington Crystal RHS Rosemoor Gardens Cobbaton Combat Museum and Quince Honey Farm. Quad biking paint ball and the Tarka Trail cycling route all nearby. The sandy beaches at Westward Ho! Instow Bude Croyde Woolacombe and Saunton are all a short drive. Golf riding and shooting are available locally. Leisure facilities: in the valley are 5 lakes well stocked with carp and other coarse fish available to guests. Outside: both lodges are set in trees on the hillside and are reached by steps. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels and central heating included. Electric by meter. Regret no pets or smoking.
