Accommodation overview: Whites Farm Barn is absolutely stunning and probably one of the best barn conversions we have seen. Set deep within the countryside the property offers a real countryside experience and yet is within a convenient distance of one of the regions most delightful market towns - Ledbury. Internally the barn is presented in a welcoming and attractive open plan style, with large open spaces displaying the oak beams and original 'cross windows'. These period features mix beautifully with some contemporary touches such as underfloor heating. There is also the added benefit of a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Externally the barn has an enclosed garden to the front and enjoys a lovely location situated down a quite lane within a little hamlet. The owner provides a super welcome basket (and maybe a little homemade Perry!!) and informs us that you can now order Waitrose deliveries to your door. This is an excellent choice for those who like quality, space and something a little historic. Accommodation overview: Bullens Bank Cottage is a holiday property which has one of the most spectacular views imaginable. It is, literally, amazing. Situated on the edge of the hillside it looks out towards some stunning English countryside, for miles and miles. Internally this holiday cottage is very cosy and traditional: secluded, low ceilings plus wood burning stoves all adding to the appeal of this 200 year old building. The cottage is surrounded by a private garden and fields. This cottage is astonishing for its view alone but also offers superb value for money. LOCATIONGreat Somerford (part of 'The Somerfords) is a traditional village situated in the southern Cotswolds, deep in the heart of Wiltshire's Clay Vale, sandwiched between the limestone belt of the Cotswolds and the chalklands of the Malborough Downs. Amongst a few 'claims to fame' is the fact that the village is believed to have the country's oldest allotment with notes  of a private growing dating back to 1809! Nearby is the market town of Malmesbury, which has a beautiful church, with Tetbury. 15 mins drive, an antique collectors heaven a little further away. Westonbirt Arboretum, with its amazing walks and forests is within 2o minutes drive. Bath, in particular, is a convenient drive away as are a wide variety of Cotswold attractions and attractive villages.
