Accommodation overview: Wagon House is stunning holiday cottage set in a beautiful village location deep with in the rolling Southern Cotswolds. Located in the grounds' of the owners' home, this delightful holiday house has been recently renovated to a very high standard and provides quality accommodation packed with period features in peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated in the beautiful and traditional Cotswold village of Little Somerford which is a short distance from the ancient market town of Malmesbury, there is a village store a short walk away and a pub (The Somerford Arms) in the nearby village of Great Somerford. (Note 20/8/12: Pub in Little Somerford re-opening soon!) Internally, the property is presented beautifully, spacious both on the ground floor and upstairs. We really feel this is ideal for a couple looking for an opportunity to relax and enjoy glorious surroundings. To make your stay even more enjoyable the owner, who is most welcoming, is willing to offer breakfast and other treats should you be interested. This cottage is one that is 'off-the-beaten-track' and therefore a real gem for you to enjoy. We are sure you will love it too! There you will see the magnificent 800 year old Norman Abbey built for the Benedictine Monastery which was founded in the 7th Century, also the lovely Market Cross. During your stay you must certainly visit the famous Abbey House Gardens that have been featured on television, and then take a stroll along the 'river walk'.
