This temperate island has towering cliffs, beaches, bays and coves, farmlands, river valleys and steep ravines, all linked by a 500-mile network of footpaths including 68 miles of coastal walks with spectacular views which are all accessed easily. For the outdoor enthusiast, there are also some great golf courses, riding, mountain biking, fishing, sailing, crabbing, surfing, kite flying, hang gliding and jet skiing.
