Portmahomack is an ideal base for exploring the nearby Tarbet Ness Lighthouse, Tarbet Discovery Centre and the work of local potters and weavers. The world famous Glenmorangie Distillery is only 15 minutes away. Inverness is 50 mins by car. For a day trip, head north to John O'Groats or across to the West Coast.
