Accommodation overview: Rectory Cottage, Alvescot is a truly classic Cotswolds cottage built in traditional stone under a Cotswold tile roof, but presented in a beautifully cool and contemporary style that makes it a stunning option for groups or families of up to 10 people. Set overlooking fields and surrounded by period Cotswold properties this delightful holiday cottage offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation. Internally, the owners have created a stunning home, which while contemporary it retains a wealth of period features that give a real sense of warmth and 'welcome'. The accommodation, which is set over three floors and with good size rooms throughout, has many period features through out. Including flagstone flooring, beams and mullion windows but of particular appeal is the kitchen which is, as they say, 'where the heart is': a gorgeous light room with a vaulted ceiling and Aga. When we visited the property we came away with the wow factor very much in our minds, we're confident that you'll feel just the same when you walk through the door too! Accommodation overview: Robbie's Barn is a high quality holiday cottage set a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the northern Cotswolds, very close to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. The cottage was recently modernised and has many ECO friendly modifications incl solar panels and ground source heat pump. Internally the cottage, which is on one level (ideal for limited mobility) is very warm, welcoming and homely with some delightful touches including beautiful oak beams and a wood burning stove. Robbie's is situated in Fulready which has easy access to Stratford, along with the Cotswolds towns of Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold. We loved the owners' home grown produce which you are welcome to purchase!
