An enticing stroll down through the woods to the beach will reveal the coves and harbour of Portreath with excellent surf and stretches of golden sand. There are several new mining trails in the area ideal for cycling or walking one of which leads straight from the farm. Nearby is the popular golf course of Tehidy and within a short drive you will find the towns of St Ives Penzance Truro and Falmouth all boasting excellent restaurants.
