Excellent for walkers and dog owners with coastal and countryside walks from the property and the Quantock Hills and Brendon Hills being within a short drive. Exmoor National Park is 2 miles away and is the second designated International Dark Sky Reserve in the world. Dunster a picturesque medieval village with its magnificent castle tea rooms pubs and restaurants and extensive wild wooded estate for biking walking and exploring is 10 minutes drive. Visit during the first weekend of December and enjoy the renowned Dunster by Candlelight event which is great fun with its street entertainers carol singers and olde worlde atmosphere. Also a short drive away is the sandy Dunster beach (near Dunster Steam Railway station) which has a pleasant lawn area and good facilities including excellent refreshments shop and cafe.
