The quiet village of Westhide is hidden away, just two miles from the A4103 which links the charming cities of Hereford and Worcester making it easily accessible from the M5. Hereford is just six miles away and benefits from a mainline station so access by rail is an option. Both cities are within easy driving and offer a wide choice of restaurants, shops, entertainment and attractions.

The accommodation on the Westhide Estate offers a peaceful environment in which to relax and unwind. Enjoy walking through its 400 acre oak woodland, fishing in one of its many pools or just sipping a glass of wine whilst enjoying incredible views of the Malvern Hills and Black Mountains - both of which provide outstanding hiking, mountain biking and horse riding opportunities. Enthusiastic walkers can easily walk the three miles to the neighbouring village of Withington to find the Cross Keys public house, (bar only), and local shop. Food and wine connoisseurs will enjoy visits to Westons Cider, the Three Choirs vineyard and historic wool town of Ludlow - famous for its numerous Michelin Star restaurants - time it right and you could enjoy one of the many fantastic local food festivals, including Abergavenny and Ludlow .

Long Cover is a detached cottage, rated Gold 4-star by the tourist board, in a very rural position in Fishpools, Kyre, near Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire.

This traditional 16th century timber frame house is surrounded by tranquil farmland and is situated half a mile from the nearest road. There are magnificent views in all directions over the Teme and Kyre valleys, ancient woodland and unspoilt farmland. It has a wealth of features including exposed beams, an old oak staircase, leaded light windows, an Aga and wood burning stove. The patio looks out over the Long Cover ancient woodland that is rich in wildlife. This raised and tranquil cottage has magnificent views across fields and farmland.

Guests will enjoy a private patio at the side which looks on to Fishpools and an ancient oak woodland. The cottage is in an ideal location for an outdoor break in Worcestershire.

Leading directly from the holiday cottage is an extensive network of footpaths and bridle ways where badgers, woodpeckers, buzzards and owls may be seen.

Places to visit in this part of Worcestershire include Tenbury Wells, an attractive riverside spa and market town in the Teme Valley (four miles away). The fine Georgian food town of Ludlow, renowned for its castle and restaurants, is a 25-minute drive away. Accommodation overview: Whites Farm Barn is absolutely stunning and probably one of the best barn conversions we have seen. Set deep within the countryside the property offers a real countryside experience and yet is within a convenient distance of one of the regions most delightful market towns - Ledbury. Internally the barn is presented in a welcoming and attractive open plan style, with large open spaces displaying the oak beams and original 'cross windows'. These period features mix beautifully with some contemporary touches such as underfloor heating. There is also the added benefit of a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Externally the barn has an enclosed garden to the front and enjoys a lovely location situated down a quite lane within a little hamlet. The owner provides a super welcome basket (and maybe a little homemade Perry!!) and informs us that you can now order Waitrose deliveries to your door. This is an excellent choice for those who like quality, space and something a little historic. The nearest facilities are only five minutes' drive away in the historic market town of Bromyard in Herefordshire which offers pubs, banks, post office, chemist, supermarket, delicatessen and butchers. Places to visit include the cathedral cities of Worcester and Hereford and the market towns of Ledbury and Ludlow which are all within 30 minutes' drive, and the beautiful Wye Valley and Welsh Borders approximately one hour away. There are several good gastro-pubs within 15 minutes' drive and many National Trust properties that are well worth a visit.

Wall Hills is the ideal celebration venue for family or friends. The open plan kitchen/living/dining area in the main barn makes it most suitable for special social occasions.
