Accommodation overview: Somerford Cottage is a quintessential English country cottage set in the heart of a beautiful and classic Cotswold village, itself located in the southern Cotswolds. The property, which has a history dating back hundreds of years, was once part of the village's Manor House, offers lovely large rooms throughout, all presented in an attractive and stylish fashion, with careful attention given to mixing contemporary furniture with traditional cottage features. Of particular appeal is the spacious living area, which is light, airy and inviting. As one would expect with a property of such history there are delightful, mature gardens, which customers can enjoy (see below*), in fact the owners are able to offer seasonal 'home grown produce' to customers - wonderful!! Locally, the village of Great Somerford is a thriving community with an excellent local shop and pub both within a 5 minute walk. We consider this holiday cottage as ideal for families or small groups who want to enjoy a traditional Cotswold location with good facilities nearby and good access to a wealth of local attractions. LOCATIONGreat Somerford (part of 'The Somerfords) is a traditional village situated in the southern Cotswolds, deep in the heart of Wiltshire's Clay Vale, sandwiched between the limestone belt of the Cotswolds and the chalklands of the Malborough Downs. Amongst a few 'claims to fame' is the fact that the village is believed to have the country's oldest allotment with notes  of a private growing dating back to 1809! Nearby is the market town of Malmesbury, which has a beautiful church, with Tetbury. 15 mins drive, an antique collectors heaven a little further away. Westonbirt Arboretum, with its amazing walks and forests is within 2o minutes drive. Bath, in particular, is a convenient drive away as are a wide variety of Cotswold attractions and attractive villages.

Accommodation overview: Pine Cottage is a lovely, spacious holiday cottage, located in a quiet spot a short walk from the centre of the historic and picturesque Cotswold village of Broadway. The cottage which is very warm and welcoming, is perfectly located for enjoying Broadway's lovely choice of shops or for touring the many, many stunning villages in the near vicinity. The famous Broadway Tower is about 30 mins walk away! The cottage has a family 'feel' to it, with large spacious rooms throughout, as well as the little stream which runs past the bottom of the garden. The two bathrooms make it a good choice for two couples looking for a privacy in their country get-away. We feel that for many the main appeal to this property, is its location which is moments from Broadway's beautiful High Street one of the Cotswolds most pictureseque scenes amd host to some excellent pubs and shops. This cottage has excellent facilities and is therefore absolutely ideal for a family of four or two couples.  ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to Hall, with hanging for coats etc.Living Room with gas 'coal-fire effect' fire, two large sofas plus additional seating, flatscreen TV with DVD and surround sound system. Old Burfa details

Old Burfa is a late 15th century house which has been extensively refurbished and restored over the last 30 years. Its retained charm, making it an unusual house that many like to visit.

Located in the hamlet of Evenjobb overlooking the Brecon hills, Old Burfa is just 18 miles west of Leominster.

There are many attractive towns that are nearby. Presteigne and Kingston offer a variety of good quality shopping including a thriving craft industry.

The Oak at Titley is recommended, with its Michelin Star. The Harp Inn at Old Radnor just three miles away, serves great food and local ale and has a lovely sitting out area where you can enjoy views of the countryside.

There are many great walks which vary in length, including the famous Offa's Dyke that runs along past Old Burfa. Offa's Dyke covers 177 miles and passes through eight counties and three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are also amazing walk throughout the Black Mountains.

There is a mainline station at Leominster.

Situated on the side of the Long Mynd, this luxury self catering rental enjoys stunning views over the surrounding hills.

Bearwood Cottage is a half-timbered property in an idyllic rural holiday setting. It lies in the grounds of Bearwood House but is completely separate with its own drive and garden.

The Cider Mill details

The Cider Mill is a charming grade ll listed building with original features of oak beams and exposed brick work. The property displays a real sense of place with the back drop of the farm’s own orchard, enveloped within the Herefordshire countryside famous for its’ cider production. This once working 16th Century Cider Mill now provides luxury country living with a spacious lounge and kitchen area and a unique cylindrical bedroom. The property also has its’ own private walled garden with access to the grounds.

It is situated in the hamlet of Catley, a mile from the village of Bosbury and only 20 minutes from the M50. Two local pubs are within a mile and a half, the Bell at Bosbury and the Oak at Staplow. Both serve local ales, excellent food and take-outs. The area is a perfect retreat for exploring the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.

2 The Oaks is a beautiful 19th century semi-detached sandstone cottage, situated in a very quiet rural location between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, both seven miles away. The cottage is a mile from the village of Hoarwithy which has a brilliant local pub (the New Harp Inn) situated next to the River Wye, which serves excellent food and local beers and also houses a small convenience shop.

This is a wonderful walking location with direct access to footpaths from the garden. Cycling can also be enjoyed by following the many bridleways and tracks in the area.

Monmouth lies 15 miles to the south with its wonderful castles, and white water canoeing is just 10 miles away at Symonds Yat. The Forest Of Dean is around 20 miles away, and has many attractions including cycling, mountain biking, walking, a steam railway, Hopewell Colliery Museum and Go-Ape. Just over the border the Brecon Beacons await. To the North West (50 minutes' drive) is the border town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its Literature and Arts festival.
