Accommodation overview: Whimbrel is an enchanting Grade II listed cottage situated in the village of Wingham surrounded by lovely countryside close to Canterbury and the coastal towns of Deal and Sandwich. Whimbrel is set back from the High Street in walking distance to all the amenities of the village but in a peaceful setting with a surprisingly large garden. The Wingham Wildlife Park is within walking distance and Howletts Wild Animal Park is a short drive away. Wingham is exceptionally blessed with many historic buildings and pubs and there is a regular bus service to the centre of Canterbury.
