Upton Cressett is a secluded hamlet deep in the Shropshire countryside, but lies within four and a half miles of historic Bridgnorth and five miles of the small, pretty market town of Much Wenlock. It is accessed by a winding and, in places, steep lane which leads to the Hall. Next to the Hall is the historic Norman church of St Michael with its 12th century wall paintings.
Upton Cressett is a haven of peace and rural beauty - an ideal place to explore the Heart of England, from the gastronomic centre of Ludlow to the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, the Shropshire hills and many other historic houses, gardens and nurseries including David Austen Roses.

Nearby for children, is Shropshire's historic working farm at Acton Scot, the Secret Hills Discovery Centre at Craven Arms or the interactive museums of Ironbridge.
