Whitchurch is indeed itself a thriving market town, offering a wealth of independent shops, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. The Cross Foxes in Erbistock is a short drive and sunny evenings are best spent sitting looking up river watching the fisherman in their waders casting flies for salmon. Ludlow also nearby has seven Michelin starred restaurants.
