Seahouses has a unique harbour wide sandy beaches and dunes that stretch for miles. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh is close by offering a range of shops pubs restaurants and most notoriously an impressive castle. To the north of the cottage is the fabulous Holy Island. Within an hour s drive you can reach the Berwick-upon-Tweed Alnwick Newcastle numerous National Trust properties and wildlife centres and various other lovely Northumberland villages and towns. You can even head to Edinburgh for the day. Other attractions include Farne Islands Hadrian s Wall Alnwick and Dunstaburgh Castles and horse riding on the beach.
