The open space and tranquillity of the area is very appealing. Children can happily play and run around here. Youll be woken by birdsong and you may glimpse deer fleetingly at dawn or dusk. You can order French bread and croissants every day during peak season. The village of La Machine is 3 km away. This is a former mining village with a fascinating mining museum, the Musee de la Mine. The village has a large swimming pond, a baker, butcher, post office, a La Presse Supermarket and more. There is market every Saturday morning.
