The region is characterized by its landscapes of flat open country, hills, hedge-lined fields, woods and pools, old villages, chateaux, churches, Gallo-Roman sites, zoo parks, etc. Indre is criss-crossed by numerous walks and tourist routes. Its an ideal region for a quiet or sporting holiday in the open air. Highly recommended!
