Fingland is only 7 miles from Carlisle and close to both the Lake District National Park and Scottish Borders. The area is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, it lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, next to a nature reserve with a wide variety of wildlife, birdlife, flora and fauna. Although the cottage has a no pets policy there is a boarding kennels in the village - less than two minutes walk: Fingland Boarding Kennels and Cattery.
