A short drive away is the Victorian fishing town of Ilfracombe with a beach fishing trips day trips to Lundy Island theatre marine aquarium shops pubs restaurants and galleries. Also the North Devon coast with its many sheltered coves and sandy surfing beaches. The regional centre of Barnstaple is 9 miles and offers leisure facilities and a cinema. Other attractions within the area include National Trust s Arlington Court Broomhill Arts and Sculpture Gardens Marwood Hill Gardens Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle are well worth a visit.
