The spectacular rugged North Devon coastline is within 3 miles with cliff-top walks along the South West Coast Path and the vast sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and Saunton Sands. Picturesque Appledore and Instow are close by and the nearby village of Buckland Brewer has a traditional butcher and pub. Atlantic Village shopping centre is also within a couple of miles. Local attractions include RHS Rosemoor Dartington Crystal the Tarka Trail Tapeley Park The Big Sheep Hartland Abbey Clovelly fishing village and day trips to Lundy Island.
