PEACEFUL LOCATION COUNTRYSIDE WALKS PUBS NEARBY PADDOCK AND STABLES This delightful stone conversion is situated adjacent to the owner s 15th century thatched cottage yet offers visitors privacy to enjoy their stay without intrusion. The cottage interior is surprisingly spacious and offers character features such as exposed stonework low ceilings and exposed beams. Lots to see with many activities within a short drive. Fishing (Stafford Moor Fishery) horse riding (bridle path leads almost direct from the cottage) or walk the surrounding land which is a picture of daffodils in the spring. The village of High Bickington is 20 minutes walk and has 2 pubs a church and a small shop/Post Office. The regional centre of Barnstaple is 20 minutes drive and offers a large selection of shops bars restaurants and leisure facilities. Also nearby is the town of Great Torrington where you can take a trip to the museum of 1646 step back in time to watch the re-enactment of the Battle of Torrington. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor Gardens or Dartington Crystal enjoy a spot of lunch or flash the cash in the superb gift shop. If all of this sounds too energetic sit back relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity at the cottage. Or wander the surrounding gardens enjoying the stunning views over the Taw Valley. Stabling: paddock with stabling for 2 horses available and a hard-standing for parking a horsebox. These facilities may be hired through direct negotiation with the owners.
