The cottages are situated on the owner s 200 acre working dairy farm. The sandy beaches and surfing waves at Westward Ho! Woolacombe and Saunton are all within easy reach by car. You can hire bicycles and cycle traffic free on the disused railway track the Tarka Trail and stop for a drink or bite to eat at one of the many watering holes on route. The property is 3 miles from the Atlantic Highway giving access to popular attractions including The Big Sheep The Milky Way and Dartington Crystal. The popular market towns of Bideford and Torrington with their famous pannier markets are also close by offering good pubs shops and restaurants. The villages of Monkleigh Buckland Brewer and Littleham are a short drive away and all offer good village pubs. Farm activities: by arrangement guests are welcome to enjoy and play on the farm after a guided tour by the farmer and even help feed the calves and watch the cows being milked. Amenities: ample off-road parking available. Bed linen towels electric and central heating included (the farm has installed a solar water heating system). Wi-Fi included although due to the location the Wi-Fi can be limited at times. Regret no smoking. 2 pets welcome 3 by arrangement and must be kept downstairs. Cot travel cot and highchair available. Location: beach at Westward Ho! 6 miles beaches at Peppercombe and Greencliff under 5 miles shops 4 miles pub 1 mile Tarka Trail cycling/walking 1 mile. An impressive renovated semi-detached cottage offering ONE bedroom: galleried king-size bedroom on the first floor with CD/radio en-suite shower room and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: on the ground floor offers a cosy open-plan area with underfloor heating woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV Freeview and DVD. Kitchen equipped with electric cooker and hob fridge with ice compartment microwave and washing machine. Outside: to the front of the property is a pretty patio area with garden furniture and a small private garden.
