The Stables is a beautiful first floor apartment set in the grounds of Buchanan Castle Estate in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The quadrangle was once the stable block of the Estate and dates back to the 1800s. It has now been lovingly renovated into individual properties. The apartment is beautifully presented with great attention to detail. This fabulous interior and a wonderful location make an ideal base to enjoy a holiday. The galley style kitchen is contemporary and well equipped. The lounge is cosy with large soft sofas. The bathroom has a separate bath and large shower cubicle and both bedrooms are immaculately presented and luxuriously coordinated. All rooms face south making them light and airy. There is a ground floor lockable store which can be used for your bikes or golf clubs. This historic estate and the surrounding area offer an enormous range of leisure and cultural opportunities. Next to the Stables is the 18 hole Buchanan Castle Golf Course, whilst opposite the entrance to the estate is the 9 hole Strathendrick Golf Course. There are quiet roads and trails to explore around the Castle, with good access for walking and cycling. The surrounding woodland with mature trees makes and ideal habitat for deer, red squirrels and pine martens, so bring your binoculars.
