History lovers and keen shoppers can visit the city of Chester just 20 minutes’ drive away. With its fascinating Roman remains shops restaurants and zoo. There’s a glorious coastline nearby whose river estuaries are a birdwatchers’ delight whilst miles of lovely beaches and a whole host of entertainments are a short drive. The seaside resort of Rhyl with two lively funfairs is 8 miles. The beautiful countryside is dotted with historic small towns like Flint with its medieval castle Mold whose lively street market is famous for fresh local produce. Dining pub 1/4 mile shops 2 miles.
