In the geographical centre of Scotland this is the ideal base for touring on scenic roads. Aberfeldy 1 mile away has excellent shops pubs restaurants and visitor attractions. Pitlochry home to the renowned Festival Theatre is 15 miles away and Perth is less than 1 hour s drive. Outside: garden area with patio and garden furniture. Private path leads down to the spectacular falls and woodlands of the Birks. Amenities: bed linen towels electric heating and initial supply of solid fuel included. Regret no smoking. Wildlife abounds in the varied habitat of forests moorland and hills. Bird-watching and hill-walking can be enjoyed here and trout fishing may be arranged (access to the hills may be restricted in certain areas in October). There are many places of interest to visit. To the west is Pitlochry or south to Blairgowrie and Perth. Amenities: Bed linen and towels for hire to overseas visitors at 12 per person per week. Regret no pets. Regret no TV. Additional info: Regret no mains electricity but a small automatic diesel generator in outhouse provides basic power for lighting and hot water. Heating provided by open fire and gas heater.
