From their secluded and idyllically peaceful setting in the hamlet of Thwaite Howe Thornthwaite these two newly renovated and beautifully furnished properties enjoy stunning views towards Keswick and Skiddaw. With their adjoining acre of woodland leading to the Whinlatter Forest tracks – heaven for mountain bike enthusiasts they offer an ideal location for bird watching and spotting wildlife and red squirrels at play. Ideally placed for touring exploring and walking with the attractive bustling town of Keswick (4 miles) offering shops inns and restaurants. Water sports on Derwent Water (4 miles). Good choice of pubs within 2 miles.
Entrance and stairs to this first floor property. Double bedroom with king size bed. Twin bedded room with ensuite shower room. Bathroom/W.C. (shower attachment). Well equipped modern kitchen. Sitting/dining room with French windows to Spanish balcony and lovely views over Skiddaw.

"Ideal position in Lake District if you enjoy wildlife (osprey red squirrel and bat watching all from cottage or nearby) and close to walks and all more busy attractions as well as Pennines and Hadrian's Wall etc. The owner even came to install digital TV as switch over occurred during our stay we were so busy watching wildlife we'd hardly have noticed but she was very obliging. My first experience of Hoseasons since a canal narrow boat in 1975 brilliant."
