Amidst beautiful rolling hills and tranquil Dorset countryside this delightful property (the left half of the manor house shown in the photograph) boasts its own private garden with a small stream running through it. Set on the owners' organic farm it also offers very spacious comfortable and attractive accommodation as well as the opportunity to enjoy tennis and lovely walks. The surrounding landscape is dotted with picturesque villages and it is an easy drive to the sea at the charming port of Lyme Regis (8 miles). Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park and Forde Abbey Gardens are both less than 7 miles distant whilst Yeovil home to the Fleet Air Arm Museum and also a dry-ski slope is 12 miles. Montacute House a magnificent Elizabethan manor in the care of the National Trust lies within a short drive as do several other interesting houses and gardens. Horse riding golf cycle hire sailing and sea fishing are all available nearby. Village shop and pub serving food in Broadwindsor 2 miles.

Definitely relaxing and it was good to be able to walk in any direction in from the front door. Wish we'd stayed for 2 weeks. I thoroughly trust you and the accommodation you offer. "Wonderful quiet rural setting. Good for children with goats cows in the farm buildings. A tennis court for the active and lots of walks on footpaths and traffic free lanes. The kitchen is very spacious a family group of 10 seated with ease around the table so great for special occasions."

"The brochure did not do this property justice. It is part of a centuries-old manor house which oozes with character. Anyone who loves animals will enjoy seeing the hundreds of kids (baby goats) in barns around the farmyard."

"Our holiday was lovely and peaceful. The house was beautifully furnished and both people and dogs on the farm were very friendly. If you want to get away from it all this is definitely the place to go although be warned there is no mobile phone signal."
